Buildmart Gulf Review of 2014

2014 was a big year for BuildMart Gulf. We improved many of our procedures and recruited valuable new team members who helped us achieve our goals for the year.

We thought you would like to share the highlights of our year.

BuildMart Gulf Review: Customer Base

Our customer base has grown to include over 2ooo separate companies across all 7 Emirates of the UAE as well as Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Kuwait.

This means we have almost doubled our reach in the Middle East in the space of a single year, something we are proud and thankful for.

BuildMart Gulf Review: Development

We already had a reputation as a steel trader who could source any steel product for you. In 2014, we decided to build on this reputation by increasing our product range to include aluminium.

Importing directly from China and India, over the course of the last 12 months, we have become specialists in aluminium sheets and are now established suppliers to several large projects in the Middle East.

As well as investment in covered storage facilities and trucks, we have also invested in on-site manual and gas-cutting facilities which has greatly improved our turnaround time for preparing your materials.

It’s also allowed us to be in better control of ensuring the quality of the cut material before it is sent out to you.

BuildMart Gulf Review: Processes

An increased customer base and a wider product range needs to be supported by a strong back-office.

Our back office consists of credit control, risk analysis, logistics and customer services. All departments work closely with each other to ensure that the customer experience is as smooth as it can be.

BuildMart Gulf Review: People

Our staff are our greatest assets and we have continued prioritising the recruitment of strong individuals who are able to provide our customers with the type of focus and commitment you deserve.

Our people receive specialised training in all aspects of their duties. Working efficiently and cohesively as a team, we have been able to create an environment where not only do we meet your needs with timely consideration, but on the odd occasion when we get it wrong (we are mere mortals after all), we learn from our mistakes and make an effort to shine more brightly with each subsequent transaction.

We are proud of our staff members, all of whom have demonstrated energy and motivation when it comes to performing their duties with your needs in mind.

Conclusion: 2014 was great!

2014 exceeded our expectations. We’re energised, full of ideas and far from done. There are many great things planned for 2015 which we look forward to sharing with you as they come closer to launch.
